Degustation “Introduction to Wine” (EUR 30)
The Vieta wine bar will introduce you to the world of wines and the pairings thereof through four different types of wine. Food and wine pairings, serving tips and tricks, and myths surrounding wine culture. The sommeliers of the Vieta wine bar will teach you the basic principles of degustation, the selection of glasses and unconventional ways of opening a wine bottle. The degustation includes four different wines, water and freshly baked bread with butter. Additional snacks are available upon request.
Degustation “Wines and Chocolates” (EUR 40)
The experimental degustation of wines and chocolates by the Vieta wine bar and Laima chocolate factory will challenge participants to evaluate pairings and the effects of various flavours, as well as learn the basic principles of degustation and food and wine pairing in an exciting manner as presented by the sommeliers of the Vieta wine bar. The degustation includes four different wines (sparkling wine, red wine, fortified wine, dessert wine), chocolates, water and freshly baked bread with butter. Degustation “Bubbles and Oysters” (EUR 55)
Turn any weekday or weekend into a celebration with Vieta wine bar’s degustation of sparkling wines and champagnes, where each wine will be paired with a complementary oyster snack. Introduction to wines, basic principles of degustation, unconventional ways of opening a wine bottle, a demonstration, and differences between sparkling wine and champagne. Wines served at the degustation: Italian prosecco, sparkling wine from Hungary, Spanish cava, champagne. Explore the world of bubbles together with the sommeliers of the Vieta wine bar. The degustation includes four different wines, four oysters, water and freshly baked bread with butter. Additional snacks are available upon request.
